Speakers: Audrey Duarte, Brad Postle, Ph.D., Taraz Lee, Ph.D., Amy Proskovec and Preston Thakral,
This discussion will explore strategies to address trainees feeling overlooked during scientific poster sessions. Key topics include fostering active engagement by senior researchers, training attendees on inclusive networking practices, and creating structured interaction opportunities, such as facilitated discussion groups or mentorship walk-throughs. Panelists will also discuss promoting respectful dialogue, ensuring equitable access to resources, and establishing a culture of inclusivity through conference guidelines. The session aims to empower attendees with actionable tools to build a more supportive and collaborative conference experience for all participants.
