Press registration is now open for the Cognitive Neuroscience Society annual conference, April 23-26, 2022, in San Francisco, CA, at the Hyatt Regency. Get great story ideas and connect with hundreds of neuroscientists, presenting some of the latest research on memory, language, aging, mental health, and learning.

Highlights will include:

  • Keynote address by Sarah-Jayne Blakemore (University of Cambridge, UK): A lecture on the development of the social brain in adolescence, including the effects of social media and social distancing.
  • Award lectures by B.J. Casey (Yale University) on applying cognitive neuroscience to improve outcomes for youth in medicine and the U.S. legal system; John Jonides (University of Michigan) on evolving laboratory tasks to understand and resolve distraction; Vishnu P. Murty (Temple University) on episodic memory; and Oriel FeldmanHall (Brown University) on the choices that form the basis of human social behavior.
  • Symposia about about the foundations of consciousness, empathy and social contact, free will, biomarkers for the aging brain, new technology to study the brain outside the lab, and more.
  • More than 1,000 posters and 50 talks covering the latest neuroscience research on memory, attention, decision-making, language, music, and more.
